Columbus Marina   MM 335

Either way we looked this morning we were surrounded by beauty, although the air was very cool.  It was only a couple of miles to    Columbus Marina where we would get a full day and night for our money.

We donned our Happy Halloween outfits before checking in at the   office.  There are 18 other looper boats at this marina—some have been here a couple of days.  There is some   concern that we need to hold back a day and separate so there will be room in anchorages and marinas downstream.

With the use of the  marina courtesy car we took off to visit Columbus with Bob and Madeline.  We had lunch at Café on Main with was entertaining as well as good food.  Main Street had some great buildings from the mid-1800s and early 1900s, but we did notice some empty storefronts.

This alley reminded of us Italy.

Returning to the  marina it was time to do laundry and scrub the boat.  After dinner Ron    prepared to visit other boats as “Cool Pappa Smurf” -all treats gladly  accepted!
