Severe weather was predicted for today and the weatherman was right on target! It rained all day with gusty winds and cold temperatures. It was in the mid fifties last night and tonight it will be in the forties. The good news is that our heater works!
We stayed in the marina and had a lazy rainy day. We both read, worked on trip planning for the next leg of our journey and Jean spent a good deal of time bringing photos and music into a slideshow.
At 4:30 this afternoon the clouds lifted, the wind died and we were able to appreciate the nice marina that has been our refuge. Ron snapped a couple of photos of St. James Marina.
Tomorrow we will continue north , rounding Cape Fear to Beaufort and Moorhead City, NC.
